Most computer animated features are filled with cutesy animals and lame jokes, but 9 is different. The story takes place in a fantastic land, but the tone is much darker than the average "dog and cat become friends" plot. Nine rag dolls try to protect the world from being taken over by machines. The whole thing is rather dark, with voice acting from actors like Elijah Wood, Martin Landau and our favorite Hollywood maniac, Crispin Glover. It hits DVD today (December 29) so if you don't win our contest, you can run out and grab a copy for yourself.
