Ong Bak 2: The Beginning on DVD
If you're worried about not being able to follow the plot of Ong Bak 2 becauase you didn't see the first one, you have a few things going for you. First of all, it's a prequel, explaining how the Thai Warrior got his bone-breaking groove in the first place. And secondly, these movies have enough incredible martial arts action that you could take out the talking all together and still have a pretty entertaining movie. Tony Jaaa does things that will make you want to go do some push-ups immediately. Plus, the first flick is currently on Netflix streaming, so you can go catch yourself up for free if you have a subscription. But please, don't try any of the stunts at home, even if you do have access to an elephant.

Canon Rebel T2i DSLR
Camera companies sure are keen on shoving HD video cameras into every model they push out these days. The new "entry-level" DSLR from canon comes with an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens for about $900. But, inside you'll find guts similar to the ones found in their more expensive 7D body. It captures 18-megapixel images and has a full range of HD video capabilities including full 1080p capture at 30 fps. If you don't need the kit lens, you can get the body for $800, which is probably a better bet since kit lenses are a lot like earbuds that come free with your MP3 player. It will start hitting shelves in early March, at which point you can start trying to convince your female friends to model for you.

Finis XtreaMP3
You have been eating like Michael Phelps for years, but now it's time to start actually working off some of those calories in the pool. Rather than listening to the sounds of your own splashing, the XtreaMP3 lets you bring your own music into the pool or any other body of water near you that isn't frozen solid. It's completely waterproof up to 15-feet and holds 1 GB of music. The player straps around your arm and can stand up to even the most extreme water sports. It has a built-in rechargeable battery that will give you about 8-hours of juice per charge and the controls are easy to navigate without looking so you can change the track in a hurry in case the Jaws theme song comes on and you get really scared. $149.

Jaco Resurgence MMA Fight Shorts
If you're going to fight, or even train for, mixed martial arts, the last thing you need is a jacked up pair of shorts throwing you off your game and landing you on the receiving end of a triangle choke. Jaco's shorts are made from ultra-durable STR-X fabric that stretches in every direction. The compression waist-tightening system keeps them in place, but doesn't bunch up. There's even a mouthguard pocket at the bottom of the leg, so you won't constantly be untying your shorts. To top it all off, they're specifically designed to wick sweat and not rub your skin raw, even when you're spending hours at a time rolling around on the mat. They're available in sizes 30" to 40" and only cost $60, so you'll still have money left over for protein powder and Band-Aids.

Valentine's Day Gift Guide: Callaway Solaire Golf Set
The gift that your lady really wants this Valentine's Day is for you to put down the Xbox controller and do stuff with her. When that "stuff" includes golf, it makes things all that much more enjoyable. Callaway's new female-specific set of clubs costs $899, and includes everything she'll need to get out on those red tees and start crushing it. The kit includes a titanium driver, three stainless fairway woods, three hybrid clubs, two irons and three wedges. All of it fits into the included, matching cart bag with lots of storage. Everything has a matching look and, more importantly, is specifically designed to a woman's swing. Sure, it'll suck if she starts beating you, but at least you won't be spending your "together time" walking around an antique bottle museum.

Alienware M11x Gaming Netbook
Alienware is known for their huge, gawdy laptops that chew through video games like that guy on Man Vs. Food does to giant novelty foods. But, their newest machine is almost a netbook, sporting a sub-12-inch screen and coming in at just $800 to start. Of course, that base price will only get you the bare essentials when it comes to gaming, like a 1.3 GHz process, a 160 GB hdd and one measly gig of RAM. Of course you can upgrade, but it's going to cost you. Still, if you have been looking for a smaller laptop that can satisfy all of your unending nerd lust, this might just be the box for you.

Olympus SP-800UZ
The average point-and-shoot digital camera will give you 3x optical zoom, but the newest super-zoom from Olympus offers up an almost-creepy 30x. That's like taking your DSLR and attaching a lens that goes from a 28mm wide angle all the way to a super telephoto 840mm. That's longer than those big beige monsters you see on the sidelines at NFL games. Of course, at just $350 and with a body small enough to fit in your fanny pack, it's not quite ready to hit the sidelines, but if you bring it into the stands, it's probably long enough to catch Tim Tebow the next time he cries. It also shoots 720p HD video, but be sure to bring a tripod because tryin to hand-hold a camera zoomed to 30x will give you camera shake that makes Cloverfield look steady.

Zombieland on DVD
All of the Hollywood blowhards have already started making their Oscar predictions and, sadly, Zombieland has yet to get a mention. But this zombie-centric action comedy has just about everything else going for it. Woody Harrelson is amazing. Emma Stone looks so hot it almost hurts our eyeballs. Oh, and there are zombies all over the place, which is a surefire way to make everything better. The extra features include a commentary by the actors, directors and writers as well deleted scenes, and a killer "making-of" featurette. It's everything you could ask for out of a dude movie, so get it and enjoy it over and over again while you try to tune out your annoying "artist" friend tries to convince you to watch, Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire. Yikes.

Gerber Strata Multi-tool
The term "multi-tool" brings about images of guys with holsters on their braided belts, with tapered jeans and tucked in polo shirts. But, Gerber's sleek multitasker is light and slim enough to fit inside your pocket. It carries with it 13 tools including the standard pliers, drivers, blades and carbide pinch cutters. It even has a "retail package opener," which means it'll get you through the next present-receiving holiday with the skin on your hands completely intact. The whole thing is locked together with Gerber's SAF.T.PLUS system so it won't open in your pocket and give you an unexpected vasectomy. As a note, you shouldn't use it for any kind of vasectomy, even if you're totally expecting it. $104.

Urbanears Tanto Headphones
White headphones were cool for a while, but now they're just a way to show people that you're so lazy you'll just use any crappy pair of headphones that come crammed in the box with your new MP3 Player. The Tanto headphones are next level retro, conjuring up images of of the mid-80s, when having a dope WalkMan made you the coolest guy on the block. The ear pads and the metal headband are totally old school, but the built-in microphone and remote will work with just about any cell-phone with a headphone jack. They're also available in 18 different colors so you'll always be color-coordinated with your matching Adidas track suit.

Weeds Season 5 on DVD
Back when Weeds first premiered, the only reason we found ourselves tuning in to watch a show about a pot-dealing mom was because of just how hot Mary-Louise Parker is. Imagine our surprise when it ended up being one of the smartest comedies on TV. Showtime's hit series has gone through more changes in five seasons than most TV shows have across their entire run. The fifth season is full of sex, drugs and, well, it's mostly sex and drugs, but that's really all you need in a TV show, isn't it? Plus, the new season is coming and you'll probably need a refresher on the happenings of last season since your memory, for some reason, isn't as good as it used to be.

Apple iPad

Apple iPad
The hype for Apple's tablet computer has been pretty much inescapable for the past few weeks. Now, it's out and the iPad is essentially an iPod Touch that uses Mark McGwire's trainer. The 9.7-inch capacitive screen is the same size as Amazon's Kindle, but it's full color and supports 720p HD video. It has a couple of swanky new apps, including a full-featured e-book store, a greatly improved iTunes experience and a revamped iWork suite in case you actually get around to doing some work on it. It's designed to fit in the hole left in your life between your cell phone and your laptop. Pricing is a little steep, with the low-end 16 GB model checking in at $499, the 32 GB model coming in at $599 and the big daddy 64 GB version demanding $699. If you want 3G wireless data, so you can, you know, use the internet when you're not near a WiFi connection, you'll have to add $130 to the asking price, plus $30 a month for unlimited access to the AT&T network. Even though it doesn't live up to the hype it generated, it sure beats the pants off of most other portable media player options out there.
