Fox Platinum Anti-Scene MX Kit
With all this snow, MX riders are getting antsy to bust out the bikes and get in some serious shredding. But, winter is the perfect time to revamp your haggard kit, especially when there are options as hot as Fox's Platinum Anti-Scene. The super-bright artwork is available on just about every piece of kit, from pants and jersey to helmet, goggles and even gloves. There are several different colorways for 2010, but we figure you might as well go as bright as possible. Unless you suck at riding. Then you might want to tone it down so you don't draw attention to your whack skills.

Reebok Vector O Bat
When Reebok wanted to improve the metal baseball bat, their first inclination was to put some speedholes in it. The result is a stick that creates less drag, allowing it to give the ball a spanking it won't soon forget. It has one of the stiffest handles you can find and it has an extended barrel profile to "maximize hitting area." If you haven't passed out from all that innuendo, you can go pick one up for $279 and then dominate those jerks from accounting at the next company softball game.

Element Metal Gods Skateboards
Neal Moser guitars are legendary and Element skateboards is paying them proper tribute by putting drawings of his iconic axes on the bottom of their boards. There are two different models, one made for Bam Margera and the other for notorious skateboard tough guy and punk rocker, Mike Vallely. Plus, each board comes with a card that you can send back for a chance to win the actual guitar on which the drawings are based. That's more than normal boards, which usually just come with a higher chances of breaking your wrists.

Adidas Powerband 3.0 Golf Shoe
Golf shoes have a reputation for being about as cool looking as the loafers your dad insists on wearing with black socks pulled up to the middle of his calf. Adidias went all out on the Powerband 3.0, thouth. The Gripzone locks your foot in place to help optimize power and the Powerband chassis comes up extra high on the upper to promote stability even during hard swings. No more mid-followthrough wipe-outs. If you're not into any of the pre-designed models, you can check out the Mi Adidas site and design your own pair to be as slick or as outlandish as you want. We suggest going as gawdy as possible purely out of spite for annoying course dress-codes.

Recon Zeal Transcend Goggles
We have always thought it would be cool to have a helmet with a heads-up display like Master Chief from Halo and The Transcend goggles come pretty darn close. Inside the lens, there's a tiny display that syncs up with a sensitive GPS tracker to give you real-time stats about your ride. You can track numbers like altitude, speed, time, temperature and even the amount of vert you've covered. They range from $350 to $450 depending on whether or not you need their snazzy SPPX xtreme low light photochromatic polarized lens. You can pre-order them now, but they don't ship until next fall, which might be a good thing since you're going to need all the practice you can get before you go snowboarding with a little computer screen in your goggles.

Tunebug Shake
Wearing headphone when you're riding a bike is awesome, but it's also extremely dangerous and usually illegal. The Shake, however, is a SurfaceSound speaker, which means it actually uses the surface of your helmet as the speaker. Sync up the Bluetooth dongle to your media player and it'll be like pumping music directly into your head during your ride. It's water-resistant and has touch sensitive controls so you won't have to take your eyes off the road and risk your life to change the track when Rick Astley comes up on random play. It's available now for pre-order for $120, but it won't actually hit stores until April 15th, so we'll send our winner his or her speaker as soon as ours comes in. It will be too cold for bike shorts before then anyway.

Jaco Resurgence MMA Fight Shorts
If you're going to fight, or even train for, mixed martial arts, the last thing you need is a jacked up pair of shorts throwing you off your game and landing you on the receiving end of a triangle choke. Jaco's shorts are made from ultra-durable STR-X fabric that stretches in every direction. The compression waist-tightening system keeps them in place, but doesn't bunch up. There's even a mouthguard pocket at the bottom of the leg, so you won't constantly be untying your shorts. To top it all off, they're specifically designed to wick sweat and not rub your skin raw, even when you're spending hours at a time rolling around on the mat. They're available in sizes 30" to 40" and only cost $60, so you'll still have money left over for protein powder and Band-Aids.

Valentine's Day Gift Guide: Callaway Solaire Golf Set
The gift that your lady really wants this Valentine's Day is for you to put down the Xbox controller and do stuff with her. When that "stuff" includes golf, it makes things all that much more enjoyable. Callaway's new female-specific set of clubs costs $899, and includes everything she'll need to get out on those red tees and start crushing it. The kit includes a titanium driver, three stainless fairway woods, three hybrid clubs, two irons and three wedges. All of it fits into the included, matching cart bag with lots of storage. Everything has a matching look and, more importantly, is specifically designed to a woman's swing. Sure, it'll suck if she starts beating you, but at least you won't be spending your "together time" walking around an antique bottle museum.

TaylorMade R9 SuperTri Driver
There's still snow on the ground and a chill in the air for most of the country, but the new golf season will be here before we know it. In hopes of keeping you in the fairway this year, TaylorMade has tweaked their flagship driver, the R9, adding even more adjustability to a forgiving 460cc head. The SuperTri has TaylorMade's Flight Control Technology as well as their Movable Weight Technology system that lets you get your club just the way you like it without having to stick a bunch of lead tape all over it. It's available in four lofts and the Fujikura Motore 60-gram shaft comes in five different flexes. It'll be available at the end of February, at which point you can take it to the indoor range and use it to put a bunch of golfball-sized holes in the back wall of the joint. $400.

ColdAvenger
If you have been relying on a plain old scarf to keep your face and lungs warm all winter, you're about to get a serious upgrade. The ColdAvenger is made of 300-weight fleece and has an integrated polyurethane ventilater, which helps to warm up air as it makes its way into your mouth. Warmer air won't make your lungs contract, which means you'll be able to breathe much easier when you're active. On top of keeping your face from freezing off, it also wicks sweat away from your skin and helps keep your goggles from getting fogged up, so you won't go smashing your newly-warm face into an ice cold knotty pine on the slopes. $40.

Valentine's Day Gift Guide: Giant Chixie
When we were kids, riding around on a girls bike was a sure-fire way to get your face punched on the playground. But Giant's female-specific street ride is a hell of a lot cooler than a lot of the lame commuter bikes we have seen guys puttering around on lately. The frame is made from polished aluminum and all the blue accents are perfectly matched by Giant. The high-rise handlebars and track bike inspired frame geometry make it both fast and comfortable to ride. The rear hub flips, so she can ride single speed or, if she really hates brakes (and loves hipsters) she can ride it as a fixed gear. $750 will get her rolling in no time.

BioPulse Lure

BioPulse Lure
If you're going out ont he lake with a worm tied to a stick, that technically counts as fishing, but if you want to go after the big fish, you're better of bringing some tech with you. The BioPulse lure comes in several different varieties, including Shimmering Shad, Rainbow and Gold Shiner. Each one has an internal, mechanical scent-dispersal system that is scientifically designed to release the right amount of stank to attact fish. It even has a built-in sound mechanism and LED lights to trick fish into trying to eat it. The list of science talk on their site is impressive, but apparently all of that fancy tech is good for getting the fish out of the water and into your boat. That's what really matters.
