It's no secret that sporks suck. But, when you're in a pinch and you need something to eat your hobo beans with, they certainly do the job. CRKT knows how essential of a tool the spork can be, so they made one that's no plastic spork could ever hope to mess with. It's made of durable metal and has a clip to help you keep from losing it. Plus, there's a built-in bottle opener, three metric wrench openings and a flat-sided screw driver that can also be used to pry things open. The large hole in the handle is meant for your finger so you can get maxiumum power out of your natural sporking motion.

Any flashlight, even the cheap-o crap you buy at the dollar store, will help you see in the dark, but a real tactical flashlight does so much more. the TK11 is a serious light, powered by ultra-bright LEDs, which create a focused beam of intense light that can help you find your way out of the woods or blind the crap out of a guy who is trying to attack you. The aircraft-grade aluminum body is virtually inddestructable and the grip will help you hold onto it, even if you have to use it to bash in an attacker's head. Plus, the whole package is incredibly compact, which means more power and less hardware hanging around on your belt or in your pocket.

We weren't exactly stoked when Team USA Hockey just missed out on the gold medal when they fell to a tough Team Canada in OT. But, we can't blame Canadian ax-makers Best Made for being stoked. To celebrate their win, they put together a limited-edition, double-bit wood annihilator. It's built to their own crazy standards for quality and is all dressed up in the colors of the Canadian flag. It costs $500, but it's more of a collectible than something you're supposed to take out and fell tress with. Of course, should you get the urge to go choppin', it will perform just fine. Get it now, crazy friends from the north. Then ship us some Poutine. Please?

It's not often you find a multitool with a "beer shotgun tool" but the Brewzer has just that. It's made from 154CM surgical stainless steel that's treated to be incredibly hard and fits on your keychain. It acts like a regular bottle opener, but it also has a flat tip for pyring, a scraper and a flat screwdriver. The hook on the bottom is technically supposed to be tearing open tricky packaging, but we guess a can is kind of like the package that the beer comes in. Just be sure you don't have too many, because tools and booze seldom mix well. $19.

Starting at the back of this 30-inch beast, you'll find a traditional prying fork, ideal for pulling out nails and separating, well, just about anything from just about anything else. Move up the textured grip and eventually you'll find yourself staring into its gnarly jaws. The head has a hammer on one side and what they call a "ripping hook" on the other. The ridged jaws are meant for tearing apart walls without tearing up your hands. The whole thing weighs about 8.5 pounds and has incredible balance so you can swing it all day without having to make a trip to the chiropractor. It's so much fun to swing, you'll be hoping for that zombie outbreak everyone keeps talking about.

The term "multi-tool" brings about images of guys with holsters on their braided belts, with tapered jeans and tucked in polo shirts. But, Gerber's sleek multitasker is light and slim enough to fit inside your pocket. It carries with it 13 tools including the standard pliers, drivers, blades and carbide pinch cutters. It even has a "retail package opener," which means it'll get you through the next present-receiving holiday with the skin on your hands completely intact. The whole thing is locked together with Gerber's SAF.T.PLUS system so it won't open in your pocket and give you an unexpected vasectomy. As a note, you shouldn't use it for any kind of vasectomy, even if you're totally expecting it. $104.

Made from Magnesium allloy created from seven different metals, this is one of those simple contraptions that might eventually save you from freezing to death and being eaten by bears. You drag a small blade across the steel and it generates a shower of sparks that reach temperatures of about 5,500 degrees F. It will work under just about any conditions, even if it's wet, and it weighs just under two-ounces so it seems like a no-brainer to keep in your camping pack. The sparks are bright enough that they can act as a rescue signal or to scare away cannibalistic mutants should you find yourself in some kind of post-apocalyptic dystopia. $16.
